Graduate Assistantships at Holy Family University
Holy Family University offers graduate assistantships in various offices throughout campus including the School of Nursing, Office of Advancement, Student Engagement, Counseling Psychology and the Office of Enrollment Management.
Graduate assistants may focus on discipline related projects, curriculum, special projects. To be eligible for a Graduate Assistant position, students must apply and be admitted as a full-time degree seeking student in an approved Graduate Program. Most graduate assistants will be eligible to work up to 20 hours per week, and will receive tuition credits plus stipend based on the hours worked. Tuition remission is only available for Fall and Spring terms.

Graduate Assistant for the School of Nursing
The position will assist the School of Nursing and Health Sciences by conducting recitations of weekly lectures; proctor; and provide administrative support. Requirements include a nursing degree, proficiency with MS Office, and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Graduate Assistant for the Office of Advancement
Work in the Office of University Advancement, located in Marian Hall, on a range of projects and tasks to support Holy Family's goal to increase engagement and philanthropy while fostering loyalty, lifelong relationships, commitment, and community among all alumni, students, parents and friends. Provide assistance to the Assistant Vice President and the Advancement team in carrying our projects, including assisting in planning and producing alumni and stewardship events, researching and importing updates into our constituent database, preparing research profiles on individuals, corporate and foundation donors, and replying to emails, and other tasks as assigned.
Graduate Assistant for the Office of Information Technology
Holy Family University's Office of Information Technology is seeking a motivated and creative Graduate Assistant (GA) to join our team. This position is designed for graduate students passionate about enhancing how users interact with technology. The GA will focus on developing and improving user experiences for our digital platforms, with a particular emphasis on crafting intuitive, accessible, and effective training and resources for faculty, staff, and students across the university.
Graduate Assistant for Student Engagement
The Graduate Assistant for Student Engagement is a student-centered position and has responsibilities of program management for both on- and off-campus events, as well as to provide administrative and operational support for the Student Engagement Office and Registered Student Organizations. This position will work closely with the Assistant Director for Student Engagement to expand current social media and marketing support, manage and promote club sports and intramurals and expand our Mascot program in order to foster a culturally rich, diverse, and vibrant campus community.

This role is part of the on-campus para-professional and professional staff on-call rotation and will require times when night, evening, and weekend availability is necessary.
Graduate Assistant for Community Engagement and JDEI
The Graduate Assistant of Community Development & JDEI (Social Justice, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) will focus on community building, residential development and JDEI work. This position will ensure successful implementation and support of the Residence Hall Association (RHA), and serve as a liaison between students and residence life staff. This position will support the Assistant Director of Residence Life and on-campus Community Assistants in engagement and program development.
The role works closely with residential life staff to build a positive residential community that fosters opportunities for student growth, group interaction ad individual responsibility within the context of a learning environment. The role will also provide general administrative and operational support to residence life and the Assistant Director and Director. The Graduate Assistant (GA) works under the supervision of the Interim Administrator for Internships and Career Services. The GA's primary responsibility is contributing to the University's mission of fostering student success by providing valuable support in career-related initiatives. The GA provides comprehensive services aimed at empowering students to explore, develop, and achieve their career goals. The Graduate Assistant will gain valuable experience in higher education, career development, and student engagement.
Graduate Assistant for the Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) Department
The Graduate Assistant (GA) works under the supervision of the Doctorate of Psychology in Counseling Psychology Program Director. The GA's primary responsibility is contributing to the University's mission of service responsibility and life-long learning through the application of skills to practice and practical learning opportunities to help foster competent professionals and responsible citizens. The GA will be responsible for supporting program admissions/recruitment, coordinating administrative tasks for the program, and developing and implementing a program improvement project. The Graduate Assistant will gain valuable experience in higher education and curriculum/program development.
Graduate Assistant for the Office of Enrollment Management
This position will provide support the Office of Enrollment Management - Graduate/Adult Admissions by carrying out projects, assisting in planning for campus events, conducting research and benchmarking projects. The position will assist Graduate and Adult Admissions office recruitment and yield initiatives; contacting/calling inquiries, applicants, admitted students; assisting the Director with streamlining new processes for the office (admission decisions, packets, other mailings, etc); provide support to Graduate/Adult recruiters with data entry into CRM. The goal is to have support in the office to help conduct tasks allowing the team to focus on increased enrollment targets for the University.
